Kansas Rush Soccer Club

Junior Rush (U4/U5) Soccer Program

We are excited to announce some changes to our Junior Rush program!

There are now three levels in Junior Rush. The coach to player ratio will be kept ideally 8-1 but we would never keep a child from playing. We will always find a way to help a child experience our program.

Sign up your child based on their age, but players may be moved based on their ability.

This program focuses on the four pillars of Rush Player Development for the younger ages:
They are the physical, technical, tactical, and psychological aspects of development in a child through soccer.

Junior Rush helps the child during the critical stage of physical development by focusing on their motor and cognitive stages. We develop their basic motor skills in a fun positive, energetic environment.  We develop their coordination through the repetition of proper body movement, balance, and agility. This helps promote a healthy lifestyle for years to come.

With their technical development, the coach will focus on their dribbling moves, shooting and passing as well as their individual ball handling skills, so each child can experience success on the field. Each child will leave with a strong and confident relationship with the ball.

Tactically, each child will learn to trust, build relationships and communicate, which are the foundations to successful teamwork in the future. The child will develop their decision-making skills under pressure, while also developing their tactical awareness of the game.

Junior Rush has specially trained coaches that will help your child develop their self-confidence and creativity, on and off the ball, with their positive social interaction with your child. Through your child’s connection with our coaches, they will develop their passion and love for the game. Our coaches will encourage your child to take new risks. This helps your child become confident leaders who are disciplined and have the character and attitude to succeed in all aspects of life.

“Where the trails of passion and purpose meet, begins the path to victory”
